Happy international remembrance of disabled people/disabled day

cripple punk rejects the “good cripple” mythos. cripple punk is here for the bitter cripple, the uninspirational cripple, the smoking cripple, the drinking cripple, the addict cripple, the cripple who hasn’t “tried everything” –

Tai as an individual started the Cripple Punk/cpunk community and the significance of that is is beyond what I can articulate; they and the subsequent community saved a lot of people both from society and themselves.

Years ago while Tai was blogging what was then being coined as “cripple punk” the term itself rallied a community that too many weren’t allowed to live to see. It may be underground, but I can’t imagine not having the cripple punk community in this world, especially now.

Rest in power,  Tai.
