I think I have been saying I would make this post ever since I started this blog, in fact it was one of the reasons why I made this blog in the first place because I knew tweeting my feelings about this subject wasn’t suitable. It needed a better home, a place where I could be more eloquent and explain things better than in a twitter thread. This blog is the perfect place to do that and it has still taken me ages to actually finish this.

This subject is a lot harder for me to write about than I previously imagined, yet it needs to be talked about. I am not saying activists don’t do amazing and important work, I am just saying that they are forgetting a group.
